On August 11th, Farm Animal Refuge will be hosting a delightful waterfront social at the Mission Beach Women’s Club Cottage, in Mission Bay. While guests soak in a spectacular sunset just steps from the sandy bay front in San Diego, happy hour (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) beverages and delicious vegan food will be served throughout the indoor/outdoor venue. In addition to a wonderful plant-powered menu and great company, a silent auction and opportunity drawing will be held.
The refuge is home to over 100 rescued farmed animals and serves as a sanctuary as well as an educational experience for visitors who may have never met farmed animals.
